Founded in 1982 as an athletic club in Dearborn, Michigan,
the Lebanese American Heritage Club has since expanded to serve its
members and the community in many different ways. The Club is active in
the following areas: Culture and Heritage - celebrates the positive aspects of American and Lebanese culture Education - provides scholarships for deserving students, as well as a youth support and guidance network Sports - The Dearborn Star Soccer Team provides entertainment and sports activities for young people Communication - provides information through a quarterly newsletter and cable television programming Community Involvement - works to solve community problems, and encourages Lebanese Americans to participate more actively in the American democratic process The Lebanese American Heritage Club is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization; L.A.H.C. members volunteer their time and make financial contributions to support programming in all areas. With the support of the community and its business people, we are determined to carry on new missions that emphasize the unity of our community. With this thought in mind, we invite your participation, to contribute to the community and share in our success. |
