The
L.A.H.C. Annual VIP Student Luncheon & Recognition Each year, The L.A.H.C. holds a special VIP Luncheon at a local Middle school to recognize students of higher achievement. The VIP Student Recognition Luncheon treats high academic achieving students to a Pizza and Pop Luncheon, through which special recognition certificates are presented to the qualifying students. The L.A.H.C. education committee works closely with the school administration office to organize and setup such event. However, the qualifying students are directly and solely selected by the school administration based on academic performance (GPA) and overall character of each student. The L.A.H.C. takes great pride in this event as it recognizes a very important segment of the student pyramid: the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades as it encourages them and gives them the confidence and the momentum to excel and to look forward to becoming active and serving members of the community at large. The L.A.H.C. hopes this VIP Recognition program will be expanded in the near future to include many local area middle schools and high schools.
