The Arab American Scholarship Foundation
The Lebanese American Heritage Club’s Scholarship Fund
was established in 1989. Our goal is to support education by providing
financial assistance to students who are high academic achievers.
GENERAL INFORMATION The program awards scholarships of $1,000 to each selected qualified high school senior or college student as funding allows. Recipients are selected by an independent committee of educators on the basis of criteria listed in this General Criteria. Mass communication majors will be accorded special consideration. The purpose is to encourage our community members to get involved with regional and national media. Awards are applied toward educational costs. Payments will be issued directly to the institution’s finance office and applied to the student’s account. All documents submitted for consideration are kept by the Arab American Scholarship Foundation of the Lebanese American Heritage Club, and will not be returned to the applicants. The award decisions of the Education Committee are final.
