VIP Student Recognition Luncheon
Annually, the LAHC hosts a special VIP luncheon at a local middle school to recognize students of high achievement and encourage their academic endeavors and advancement. The LAHC treats these young achievers to pizza and soda with a special ceremony, providing students with certificates of recognition.
The LAHC's Education Committee works closely with the school administration to facilitate and organize the event. Qualified students are directly and solely selected by their school administrator based on their overall academic performance and character.
The LAHC takes great pride in this event as it recognizes a vital component of the youth community; the middle school students. This program encourages students and gives them the confidence and momentum to excel and become successful. Through this initiative, the LAHC hopes to promote community involvement and activism which will benefit the community as a whole.
