L. A. H. C. 22nd Anniversary & Lebanon Independence Day Celebration Iftar Dinner; November 21, 2003 at the Heritage Manor, Home of The L.A.H.C.
Under the auspices of His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Skayni, Consul General of Lebanon, the L.A.H.C. celebrated its 22nd anniversary, and Lebanon 60th Independence Day with an Iftar Dinner on Friday November 21, 2003 at 4:45 p.m. at the Heritage Manor, home of the L.A.H.C. on Chase Road in Dearborn (North of Warren Avenue). The celebration was open to the public and was co-sponsored by DTE ENERGY and by POWERONE CORPORATION.
The L.A.H.C. is grateful to their sponsorship, and would like to extend its sincere appreciation to them for playing an active part in our community.
Also, the L.A.H.C. would like to extend its appreciation to the artist Arthur Pletcher for his beautiful and talented display of paintings of Lebanon.
The celebration was attended by hundreds of community members, elected officials, clergy, and local and out-of-state organizations and clubs. Our deepest appreciation to all for joining the L.A.H.C. in its 22nd anniversary and in celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Independence of Lebanon.
Community Service awards were bestowed on Hajj Chuck Alawan for decades of community service, and on Alex Itawi of the L.A.H.C. Education Committee for community service. Last but not least, the L.A.H.C. presented an award to His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Skayni, Consul General of Lebanon for outstanding community service. Congratulations to all as they all well deserve it.
