Sandy Al Bio

Sandy Al, born in Dearborn, Michigan is an active member of the Arab American community and a single parent of two children. After relocating to San Diego, California for 11 years, where she completed her degree in Child Development, she returned to Michigan. Upon her return, Sandy went back to work for the Arab American Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS) where she serves as the Food/Shelter Coordinator. She is currently enrolled in university to complete a B.A. in Psychology. She is an active member of the ACCESS Domestic Violence Coalition, Wayne Metro Coalition, Karmanos Cancer Committee, Allie & Friends and serves on various committees with the LAHC.
